Tragedy in Mongkok

I am a big fan of Chinese food, specifically chicken mushroom toppings on rice and chicken feet. Okay maybe I am a big fan of chicken, specifically prepared using Chinese cooking. Either way, I always make it a point to NEVER let a week pass without partaking that bounty.

Last June 19, I ate at "Mongkok" restaurant located on the top floor of Robinson's Galleria. That's when the great travesty started...

The food I ordered took too long (15 minutes, when I can usually get it from other restaurants under 5), it was cooold (not lukewarm, but not-yet-thawed cold though the rice was mildly warm), and it tasted somewhat like it was almost spoiled (sour and with a weird smell). It was almost 9pm then, so I felt they served me some leftover food that they wished to dispose of. I was so disappointed, since my previous experience with the "Mongkok" franchise was really good (I was a regular at the shop at Shangrila Ortigas).

That's one restaurant I'm never gonna patronize again.
